I can’t believe the summer is almost over. I hope you had a chance to get some rest and enjoy the sun while it was around.
My summer went by too fast and felt way too busy. I know that sounds funny coming from a “productivity” guy.
I spent the summer taking care of my four kids (ages 1-10). Some days I felt lucky to get a shower and breakfast. I have a whole new perspective and respect for the work my wife did when she was a stay-at-home mom.
If nothing else, this summer taught me the importance of taking time for what really matters and realizing that I can’t do everything. Every day had some new limit. Sometimes it was time. Sometimes it was money. Most often, it was a lack of energy.
Do you ever feel like that?
Now that I’m back to work and my kids are back in school, we can settle back into our routines and habits. Having those in place make our entire life sooooo much easier.
Here’s a quick update on the blog. Starting August 29th, I’ll get back on track posting new productivity tips each week. I’m also still working on the Master Your Personal Productivity Course I began this spring.
Thanks for staying subscribed to updates. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you. If there’s anything I can do to return the favor, let me know.
I’d love to hear how your summer went.
